Returns & Exchanges

Anyone who owns a Heirloom Baby blanket should be completely happy.  We have a return policy, that gives you up to 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, then up to 14 days after that to send it back. We'll help in any way we can, and offer a full refund or exchange. 

Damaged/Incorrect Items Received
Please inspect your order, and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We will arrange and pay for the item to be shipped back to us, and will do what we can to make it right, whether your preference is a full refund or an exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@heirloombaby.co.nz (or phone +64276444425, Contact Us form) for instructions on where to send your package, and to advise if you'd like a Refund or Exchange. Please reference your order number. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. The return shipping will be at your expense.

Gift Exchanges
Our blankets are often purchased as gifts to welcome a new baby. Not the colour you were hoping for? Again, we want you to be completely happy, so drop us a line. If you can provide us with some information about the gift giver (name or order number), we can happily send you another blanket.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received your return, and let you know when a refund is made. You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
